Foreign bus and coach operators registered in the European Union do not require special permits to travel through Slovenia.
Motorway tolls (including the Ljubljana bypass) are charged electronically via the DarsGo system. In order to register a vehicle in the system and obtain a DarsGo unit, you have to submit the vehicle registration document and EURO emission class certificate (in the case of vehicles registered in Slovenia, only the vehicle registration document is required). An administration cost of €10 (including VAT) is charged for the registration of each vehicle and personalisation of the DarsGo unit.
You can also register online via the DarsGo website or at DarsGo customer centres.
