Conventa Crossover Festival Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

On September 8–9, 2025, Ljubljana will host the jubilee 10th edition of the Conventa Crossover Festival, the first and only regional gathering of event professionals and experiential marketing experts. The highlight of the festival will be the grand finale of the Conventa Best Event Awards, one of Europe’s oldest and most prestigious competitions in the field of event organisation, launched in 2012. Ljubljana Tourism will also compete for one of the awards.
Conventa Crossover 2025
From September 8 to 9, more than 150 event professionals and experiential marketing experts will gather at Ljubljana Castle. For ten years, the festival’s guiding principle has been summed up in the slogan “No More Boring Events”, which shapes the selection of topics and speakers, as well as the format and moderation style.
Conventa Best Event Awards
The mission of the Conventa Best Event Awards is to promote professionalism, excellence, and effectiveness in event organisation across Europe.
A distinguished international jury of 24 members selected the finalists. A record-breaking 55 events from 16 countries will be presented, competing for four main awards in the B2B, B2C, B2E, and Crossover categories, as well as special jury recognitions. As in previous years, the award for the Best Slovenian Event will also be presented. Visit Ljubljana is competing in the B2B category with the event Ljubljana Food Crawl Virtuoso 2024.

The is organised by Toleranca Marketing Agency and the Conventa Trade Show, in cooperation with Ljubljana Tourism, the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Slovenian Convention Bureau, and international partners Enited, Bea World, and BEIC (Business Event Industry World).
