Gold Award for the Video “City of Cyclists” at the Terres Travel Festival in Spain

Ljubljana Tourism received a gold award in the category of tourism products and events at the international Terres Travel Festival – Films & Creativity in Tortosa, Spain, for the video City of Cyclists. The video showcases the behind-the-scenes story of an innovative presentation of Ljubljana during the 30th Tour of Slovenia, when cyclists and bicycle acrobats performed spectacular stunts at Ljubljana Castle, Prešeren Square, and the Nebotičnik skyscraper. These visually striking performances were broadcast during the televised coverage of the cycling race and shared across social media, reaching millions of viewers worldwide.
The Terres Travel Festival is a renowned international film festival focused on sustainable development and nature-related tourism. It is part of the prestigious network of the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT – Comité International des Festivals du Films Touristique), which brings together 10 of the world’s most respected tourism film festivals. The network is supported by UN Tourism and the European Travel Commission (ETC).
This marks the fifth award for the presentation of Ljubljana at the 30th Tour of Slovenia. Previous recognitions include the Best Original Destination Award at the Tour of Slovenia, an award at the Diggit competition, Slovenian Advertising Festival, International Tourism Film Festival Africa, and an award at the international competition and festival The Golden City Gate.
