The Hearth Summit is not closed to conference rooms. During the conference, Ljubljana will host cutting-edge artworks and installations that explore the themes of the Summit in a direct, experiential way:

Dragon's Nest - Cheng Tsung Feng
Deleted Park in front of the Rog Centre
On view 24/7 from 17 June to 10 September

Taiwanese artist Cheng Tsung Feng connects the past with the present through an in-depth exploration of traditional crafts. Drawing inspiration from ancient cultures, his works tell stories of handmade memories while using contemporary techniques to push the boundaries of creativity. In honour of Ljubljana's traditions and stories, Feng has created a nest for a mythical dragon - a creature that is at once nurturing and protective, fiery and gentle. Visit the nest, sit in it and be renewed.

Mirror of Peace - Renee van Bavel
Council of Europe Park
On view 24/7 from 15-27 June

Berlin-Dutch artist Renee van Bavel's work explores peace, freedom and human connection. Her spatial installation Mirror of Peace offers the viewer their own reflection and the phrase: “This is what people living in peace look like.” The work opens a space for quiet reflection - on the fragility of peace and the responsibility we bear to preserve it. Van Bavel builds his work on personal experience and shared memory - with the intention of reconnecting us.
