Located right in the centre of the old town, the City Art Gallery Ljubljana has been a central exhibition venue for decades, devoted to curating large-scale group and overview exhibitions featuring internationally renowned Slovenian contemporary artists.

Operating under the Museum and Galleries of Ljubljana (MGML), the gallery focuses on exploring key artistic practices of our time.

Its programme is complemented by expert guided tours, artist talks, film screenings and the publishing of representative exhibition publications. As part of the gallery, a shop featuring original products by both exhibiting and guest creators operates on the ground floor.
