Goriški mah, near Goričica pod Krimom, is the largest and best preserved area of the high marshes in the region on Ljubljana Marshes.
On approximately 19 hectares, layers of peat have been preserved, supporting a variety of plant species, including peat moss, downy birch, and black alder. The autumn speciality is violet meadows of autumn heath. We recommend visiting via the themed trail "Pot na mah," which starts at the information board near the fire station in the village of Goričica pod Krimom, where parking is also available.
