GT31LJ Clothing Design Showroom

Multifunctional art space

GT31Lj is a multifunctional art space, established in 2019, that merges the worlds of fashion and art under the guidance of fashion designers Nataša and Vanja. Through its gallery sales of their own brands, MESKO and NatasaHrupic, they have created a space for interactive exhibitions where visitors can engage with the latest collections. In addition to their own creative projects, GT31Lj also offers a venue for guest designers and artists, both from Slovenia and the broader international community.

The concept behind GT31Lj is based on openness to new ideas and collaboration. Through networking, socializing, and sharing experiences, it encourages the development of new partnerships that are essential for the advancement of the fashion and art fields. As such, GT31Lj is not just a place to showcase art, but an active space for co-creating the future of design and creativity.

Nataša Hrupić is a fashion designer, educator, and founder of her own brand. She graduated from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana, where she received the University Prešeren Award for her innovative research work.

Her career in fashion design includes collaborations with renowned brands, work in education, and numerous accolades, including the Young Creative Entrepreneur award and second place at the Fashion Scout South East Europe competition. She regularly showcases her collections both in Slovenia and internationally (Ljubljana Fashion Week, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, etc.), and supports young designers as a member of various professional juries. Since 2011, she has been working as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana.
Vanja Meško Russenberger is a sustainable fashion designer and the founder of the independent brand MEŠKO. She lives and works in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, where she transforms discarded clothing into unique recycled pieces that blend art, activism, and sustainability.

She began her journey in Zurich, where she founded the fashion store Ostblock, before the creative energy of Berlin led her toward a more experimental approach to fashion. Her work often integrates video, photography, and collaborations with artists from various fields. Her collections have been featured at events such as LJ Fashion Week, Festsaal Kreuzberg, and Galerie 16b in Zurich, and her work has appeared in publications such as Vogue (Russian edition), Tagesanzeiger, and RTV Slovenia Kultura.

As a mentor, she teaches upcycling at the Art School from Arnhem. Her minimalist, predominantly black designs use fashion as a medium to critically address social, political, and environmental issues.
