Juha keramika

The art of ceramics in the heart of Ljubljana

Juha Karamika is an intimate workspace and a small gallery in the heart of Ljubljana, where unique, author-driven ceramics are created by Belgrade-based ceramic artist Bojana Ristevski and her collaborators. Juha’s thoughtfully and sometimes imaginatively designed objects, pots, cups, or plates carry a distinctive mark of their creator. The displayed sculptures and drawings offer a window into Bojana’s inner world, woven with lines, figures, and tactile experiences.

Juha is growing and evolving, particularly excited about collaborations with architects, illustrators, small and large studios, and anyone who views ceramics as a challenge and a space for exploration and play.

In 2017, Bojana Ristevski Mlaker founded Juha Ceramic Studio in Ljubljana, where she and Miha Pernet create unique functional ceramics made of stoneware and porcelain, as well as sculptures and drawings. The studio serves both as an intimate workshop and a small gallery, where their passion for ceramics and art is expressed through limited series.

Juha Ceramic Studio is not only a space for creation, but also one for knowledge exchange. With the aim of expanding the experience and understanding of ceramics—an intersection of art, design, craft, and innovation—the studio occasionally hosts workshops and courses. It also regularly invites renowned artists from other disciplines to collaborate with the team in producing unique and diverse works.
