Kristina Drnovšek stepped into the world of jewellery after completing her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. She first encountered goldsmithing skills in the workshop of designer Martina Obid Mlakar. Kristina later honed her craft at the Metallo Nobile jewellery school in Florence. Her passion for jewellery design led her to pursue an independent creative path. Since 2020, she has been self-employed as a designer in the cultural sector. She takes part in group exhibitions both in Slovenia and abroad, and in recent years, her collections have earned her awards from the Designers Society of Slovenia and the Slovenian Jewelry Week.
Sanda Vidmar was first introduced to jewellery design through a course in silver and metalworking led by designer Olga Košica, and later developed her skills under the mentorship of Martina Obid Mlakar. In 2020, she began creating her own collections and brought her vision to life under the name Sanda Vidmar Jewelry. Her collection of thimbles won her the Best Designer of the Year award at the third Slovenian Jewelry Week in 2024. From the very beginning of her creative journey, she has continuously expanded her knowledge, exploring new techniques through courses, workshops, and hands-on experience.
Peter Dragolič, after graduating from the Secondary School of Goldsmithing in Celje, chose to further his training in the workshop of renowned master goldsmith Tomislav Loboda in Ljubljana. After over a decade, he decided it was time to launch his own brand and present himself independently on the market. Further studies earned him the title of master goldsmith, which motivated him to seek experience abroad. During his time working in a prestigious international jewellery workshop, he gained valuable expertise, particularly in gemstone cutting – a craft closely tied to an in-depth understanding of the stones themselves. After nearly five years abroad, he returned to Slovenia, where he now continues his career as part of the collaborative jewellery design studio – Juvelirij.
