Slovenian School Museum

The Slovenian School Museum was founded in 1898 as the first all-Slovenian specialised museum dedicated to the history of education. After several interruptions and relocations, it was renamed in 1949 and began systematically collecting and presenting school heritage.
Over time, it developed extensive collections, permanent exhibitions, a pedagogical library, and a documentation centre. In 2022, it opened a modern permanent exhibition School = Rules and took over the activities of the Sports Museum.
