Terme Snovik is Slovenia's highest-altitude thermal spa, where the healing power of thermal water, Kneipp philosophy and sustainable hospitality come together amid the unspoilt nature of the Kamnik–Savinja Alps and the Tuhinj Valley – a place where water heals and nature embraces.

Healing thermal water and the Kneipp tradition

At the heart of Terme Snovik is its healing thermal water, officially recognised as a natural healing resource by the Slovenian Ministry of Health in 2006. Rich in minerals, it forms the basis of the resort's hydrotherapy programmes and Kneipp treatments.

Terme Snovik is also home to Slovenia's only Kneipp Centre, where guests experience the five pillars of Kneipp philosophy – water, exercise, nutrition, herbs and inner balance – through thermal pools, water therapies, herbal treatments, guided exercise and the famous Kneipp barefoot trail.

Thermal resort

The resort features indoor and outdoor thermal pools, a sauna world, a wellness centre and the Potočka restaurant, serving seasonal dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Accommodation is available at NaturHotel Snovik 4* Superior, the 4-star apartment village on the edge of the forest and Eco Camp Snovik, offering a choice of stays for every type of traveller.

Sustainability and experiences

As Slovenia's first eco spa, Terme Snovik has long been a pioneer of sustainable tourism, holding both the EU Ecolabel and Slovenia Green certifications. The resort runs on renewable energy, works closely with local producers and promotes the responsible use of natural resources.

Beyond relaxing in the thermal water, Terme Snovik is an excellent starting point for hiking, cycling and exploring the Tuhinj Valley, as well as nearby attractions such as Velika planina, Volčji Potok Arboretum and the medieval town of Kamnik.
