Ljubljana Stands Out Again with Creative Showcase at the Tour of Slovenia

In addition to this recognition, two more projects from the broader City of Ljubljana family were honoured. In the Craft Excellence section, the City of Ljubljana, in collaboration with Studio Reformatic, received a gold award in the Art Direction category for Poletna bitja (Summer Creatures), the original visual identity of the June in Ljubljana festival.

Together for a Clean Ljubljanica

Using a special natural clay-like material, they will be able to imprint city details - like a manhole cover or a bolt from a city lamppost - dip it in paint, and press it onto the canvas. This creative workshop, developed by the company Sitar 1920, is designed especially to engage the youngest visitors in exploring their city and paying attention to its details, while also inviting people of all ages - locals, domestic, and international visitors - to take part.

Green Supply Chains

We began the project in 2015 with the goal to increase the share of food and drink made with locally produced ingredients that are offered to tourists visiting Ljubljana. The idea was to connect the city’s green hinterland, in which more than 800 farms supply the capital with their produce, with tourism providers in the city itself.
