Grandpa Frost is coming to Ljubljana
He will greet children on his traditional route through Čevljarski Most Bridge, Mestni trg Square, Stritarjeva Street, Prešernov Trg Square, Wolfova Street, Kongresni Trg Square, and Novi Trg Square, with stops in front of the City Hall and on Prešernov Trg Square and Novi Trg Square. On 31 December, he will also visit children at the New Year's Eve celebration for children on Kongresni Trg Square, where the youngest ones will celebrate the arrival of the new year from 4 p.m. onwards with fairytale characters and children's music performances.

When entering the Plečnik House, you are entering his home as well as the museum dedicated to him. This summer a free of charge exhibition called simply Jože was set up there by a group of young Slovenian artists from DobraVaga gallery.

Artistic event of the year: International Biennial of Graphic Arts
The main exhibition, Over you / you, prepared by the curator Nicola Lees in collaboration with her assistants Stella Bottai and Laura McLean-Ferris, is on view at the International Centre of Graphic Arts as well as five other galleries and a number of outdoor public spaces across the city. The International Biennial of Graphic Arts has always been keeping abreast of new trends and striving to broaden horizons. Its current edition brings together traditional works of graphic art, lithographs, large-format wood engravings, etchings, serigraphs, posters, and artists' books, while at the same time broadening the conception of graphic arts beyond traditional definitions to include artistic interventions such as a sculpture floating down the city's river, street lamps in a park, kinetic machines made after historical drawings, and experimental school programmes.

Impressions from IMEX Frankfurt 2023
One episode stands out in particular - it is a conversation between two brilliant female leaders - Petra Stušek, Managing Director of Ljubljana Tourism and President of the board of City DNA, and Carina Bauer, CEO of the IMEX Group. In the conversation, Ms. Stušek stressed the importance of Ljubljana's commitment to regenerative tourism, which aims not only to reduce the impact on the environment but to restore or create for locals the conditions as they were before the arrival of tourists.
