Renovation of the Ljubljana Town Hall
The renovation will take place in two phases: from 20 July 2018: restoration of the facade, with the help of a construction stage (approximately 120 days) from 15 August 2018: renovation of the wall paintings in the inner atrium (approximately 90 days) In the second phase of the renovation, the historical atrium, including sgrafitto wall paintings, the Narcissus fountain by Baroque sculptor Francesco Robba and occasional exhibitions, will not be accessible for visits. The gathering place for the regular daily guided city tours, taking place at 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00 in the summer months, will remain in front of the Town Hall throughout the renovation.

Particularly praised by the jury were Ljubljana's active promotion of sustainable mobility; organized procurement and distribution of food through the Green Supply Chains; implementation of the national green policy (the first gold certificate in the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism); the use of qualitative indicators for sustainable development as recommended by the OECD and the efforts made in managing tourist flows and in creating an attractive tourist offer outside the city center and in the region of Central Slovenia. A lively summer of congresses in Ljubljana
The annual travel convention by ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents, taking place at the Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre will bring 450 British travel agents to our city. Ljubljana will also be hosting 600 participants of the Conference of the European Council for High Ability - ECHA, 500 participants of 26 Annual Conference of the European Association of Labour Economists - EALE, 700 participants of Couples for Christ Conference and 600 participants of the conference of the International Federation of Professional Abortion and Contraception Associates.
