    Completed in 1908, the new building was the first reinforced concrete industrial edifice in Ljubljana with an internal reinforced concrete skeletal construction.  The facade in the Secessionist style is adorned with characteristic Wagnerian ornamental motifs around the windows and under the roof projection.

    More than just a cinema theatre, Kinodvor is part of a national and global dialogue around cinema culture. Kinodvor and The City of Ljubljana are collaborating on an exciting new venue envisioned for the Ajdovščina underpass in Ljubljana’s city centre. The miniplex will hold one big and three smaller screening halls, and constitute a cultural hub to work in tandem with 13 Kolodvorska to provide a home for the city’s flourishing cinema culture, with an emphasis on attracting new, young audiences.
