Križanke Summer Theatre

Renovated to the plans of architect Jože Plečnik in the 1950s, the Križanke complex is considered to be one of the most beautiful and acoustic open-air venues in Slovenia. The big stage with an orchestra pit is suitable for various theatrical and musical stagings (operas, operettas, ballet, etc.), for symphonic concerts, theatre productions as well as pop and jazz concerts.

Most of the ingredients are produced on the farm. The rest of them are sourced from other local farms. Throughout the year, the Travnar Tourist Farm offers apple juice from the Janče fruit growing area.

National Theatre Institute of Slovenia

It houses a collection of exhibits relating to spoken, musical, dance, and puppet theatre, scenic and costume design, and theatre architecture. Visitors to the museum can also acquaint themselves with the most prominent figures in the world of theatre. The museum's collections feature photographs, theatre programmes, posters, letters, manuscripts, books, periodicals, newspaper clippings, audio and video footage, set design and costume sketches, and (to a lesser extent) costumes, set design models, and other objects related to theatre.

Historical City Centre and Ljubljana Castle

The tour, beginning in front of the Town Hall, takes you through the historical city center, whose unique architecture is the legacy of the Baroque and Art Nouveau periods and, most notably, the work of the famous 20th-century architect Jože Plečnik.  Ljubljana Castle, standing on a hill above the city for about 900 years, is Ljubljana's main attraction.
