Parades along the embankments of Ljubljanica River
In each parade, three Ljubljana-based orchestras, together with guest musicians, form one or two joint marching bands that perform both while moving (Igranje v gibanju) and stationary (Igranje na mestu), between the Cobblers’ Bridge and the Butchers’ Bridge on both embankments of the Ljubljanica River. On Prešeren Square, as the central event, the two parades come together and perform a 15–20-minute joint or individual programme before continuing along their designated route.
