Once again, the streets and embankments along the Ljubljanica River will be filled with the sounds of wind music. Parades along the embankments of the Ljubljanica River, featuring Ljubljana’s wind orchestras, have been taking place since 2020 and will be held for the seventh time this year.

This summer, three parades will take place in June, August, and September, offering visitors to the city centre a unique experience of music in motion.

The parade route will run from Cobblers’ Bridge (Čevljarski most / Šuštarski most) to Butchers’ Bridge (Mesarski most), with intermediate stops at Fish Footbridge (Ribja brv), Prešeren Square (Prešernov trg), and in front of the cafés along the Petkovšek Embankment (Petkovškovo nabrežje) and Cankar Embankment (Cankarjevo nabrežje).

The parades will feature the Ljubljana Wind Orchestra (Pihalni orkester Ljubljana), which is also the organiser, the Vevče Paper Mill Wind Orchestra (Papirniški pihalni orkester Vevče), and the Ljubljana Vič Wind Orchestra (Pihalni orkester Ljubljana Vič). The Ljubljana Majorette Ensemble will lead the parade.
