DIY Experiences at the Creative Hub Center Rog for Local and International Visitors
The Creative Hub Center Rog and Ljubljana Tourism have co-created two new experiences: "DIY at Center Rog: Mix Flavors and Styles." Visitors first learn about the history of one of the most significant industrial heritage buildings in 20th-century Ljubljana, which operated as a factory for 150 years, and gain behind-the-scenes insights into the creative labs of Center Rog.

In Ljubljana, the beginning of October was coloured in sustainable urban mobility, since the most important European conference in this field, the 13th CIVITAS Forum, took place in our capital. A record number of participants, namely, some 560 people from 48 countries, met to discuss, share and experience the meaning of sharing the physical and social space of the city.

A bee-friendly region
The Slovenian Beekeepers’ Association awarded Ljubljana with the golden recognition and the title “Most Bee-friendly Municipality” in 2019. Apitourism has become very popular over the past years. The Bee Path was created in 2015 by the city of Ljubljana.

The Path of Remembrance and Comradeship
The locations of Second World War bunkers along the path are marked by memorial pillars. Coffee came to the Slovenian lands in the 17th century, and was enjoyed solely by the wealthiest social classes until the 19th century, when prosperous country people also began drinking it, although it was primarily women who drew strength from it.
