Ljubljana–Kamnik

The most famous of them is the high-mountain plateau of Velika Planina, where the Alpine herdsmen take their cows each summer. Kamnik is separated from Ljubljana by just over 26 kilometres of cycling route. Head north from the centre of Ljubljana and cross the river Sava. Cycle past Ježica and just before Trzin turn onto a pleasant macadam road that will take you almost to Kamniška Bistrica.
