Ljubljana Festival
The main venue of the Ljubljana Festival is the picturesque Križanke Summer Theatre, a gem of 13th century architecture rebuilt to its present form by the famous architect Jože Plečnik. Festival events are also held at a number of other prestigious venues in Ljubljana and its surrounding areas. For several years now, the opening of the Ljubljana Festival has been held in Kongresni trg, one of Ljubljana's central squares.
