  • The Ljubljana Rose

    In 2015 it was selected on the basis of assessment by an expert panel and citizens’ votes. Since then more than 2,600 roses have been planted in the city’s parks and public areas outside various city institutions, schools and nurseries. Every year rose plants are awarded to the winning block in the Best Block campaign, which takes place as part of the City of Ljubljana’s annual city clean-up campaign For A More Beautiful Ljubljana.
