If the rhythms of music and the lively atmosphere beneath Plečnik’s arcades do not win you over, the swaying couples on the dance floor certainly will.

Summer evenings in the heart of Ljubljana will once again be dedicated to dance. At the Central Market near the Mesarski most (Butchers’ Bridge), free weekly dance evenings will take place every Thursday, led by Katarina Venturini, one of Slovenia’s most successful dancers and a renowned dance teacher.

Dance evenings are designed for all generations and all levels of dance experience, from complete beginners to experienced dancers who wish to enjoy relaxed social dancing in a unique urban setting.
