From 20 to 30 December, a beautifully decorated Grandpa Frost’s Cottage will once again bring festive magic to Park Zvezda on Kongresni trg Square. Children can visit it every day (except 24 December) between 10:00 and 18:00, where Grandpa Frost’s granddaughters will keep them entertained with cheerful holiday activities - they’ll even cook up some snow as part of their winter magic!

On 26, 29, and 30 December from 14:00 to 16:30, and on 27 and 28 December from 10:30 to 13:00, Santa himself will be in the cottage to meet the children! They’ll be able to take photos with him, have a friendly chat, and share their last New Year’s wishes.

Every day at 5 p.m., Santa will set off on a festive carriage ride through the city, accompanied by his Lipizzaner horses, snowmen, bears, rabbits, and other magical creatures from folk tales and fairy stories. His traditional route will take him from Breg, across Cobbler’s Bridge, past the Town Hall, along Stritarjeva ulica Street, Prešernov trg Square, Wolfova ulica Street, Kongresni trg Square, and all the way to Novi trg Square, where he will stop to greet visitors along the way.

Santa will also visit Kongresni trg Square on 31 December during the New Year’s Eve celebration for children. Starting at 4 p.m., the youngest visitors will welcome the New Year in the company of fairytale characters and live music performances, and will symbolically step into 2026 at 5 p.m.
