The London Symphony Orchestra, one of Europe’s leading ensembles with a long recording tradition, returns under the direction of Sir Antonio Pappano. The soloist of the evening is pianist Bruce Liu, winner of the 2021 Chopin Competition. The concert pairs Beethoven’s dramatic Piano Concerto No. 3 with Bruckner’s Ninth Symphony, the composer’s final, monumental and spiritually charged work.
