For three days, Wild West Fest brings the spirit of the American Wild West to the shores of Lake Zbilje, just outside Ljubljana. The festival combines live country music, line dance and two step workshops, horse riding, mechanical bull rodeo, horse shows, American classic cars, western games and an extensive BBQ experience.

One of the festival's highlights is its international KCBS BBQ competitions, where pitmasters from around the world compete according to official Kansas City Barbeque Society rules. Visitors can also enjoy western market stalls, Slovenian craft beer and a wide range of activities for all ages.
