A circular ride with the Urban train

The Urban electric train will take you on an attractive circular tourist trail, which connects the main city attractions from the Town Hall to the Ljubljana Castle, the Špica embankment with the starting point for the Botanical Garden, the Trnovski pristan embankment, Plečnik House in Krakovo, the Roman wall, Križanke summer theatre, Slovenska cesta street, Kongresni trg square, Parliament and Prešernova cesta street. The passengers are able to get off at the Opera House to visit the Museum of Modern Art and the National Gallery or take a ride along the Cankarjeva cesta road to the Slovenska cesta road and the Ajdovščina stop and then continue via Dalmatinova ulica street and Miklošičeva cesta road across the Prešernov trg square to the final stop at the Town Hall.

Local and foreign visitors to the city and mobility-impaired persons, for whom the vehicle is suitably adapted, can head for a fun, educational, and environmentally-friendly experience with the Urban. In wintertime, the carriages are closed and heated, while their windows are opened in the summertime.

A free seat on the train is guaranteed only at the first entrance station.

The ticket is valid for a circular ride on the same day; passengers can get on and off using the same ticket per the ride’s timetable.

• The adult accompanying a person with disabilities pays the full price (€10,00).
