Bled Lake 1/2 Day

Discover Bled, one of the most beautiful and iconic destinations in Slovenia. A trip to Lake Bled offers a unique insight into Alpine nature, history, and tradition.

Begin your exploration with Bled Castle, which has stood guard on a steep rock above the lake for a millennium. The castle offers a glimpse into the region's rich medieval history. Explore the museum collections and learn about life in this strategic location. The castle terraces provide the best guaranteed view of Lake Bled, the Julian Alps, and Bled Island.

To continue your experience to the island, choose a ride with a Pletna boat. The Pletna, a unique wooden boat, is a traditional means of transport rowed by a skilled boatman – the Pletnar. This quiet cruise is an ideal moment to relax and observe the lake from a new perspective.

Upon arrival at Bled Island, visit the Church of the Assumption of Mary and, according to tradition, ring the Wishing Bell.

Explore Bled and create unforgettable memories in the heart of the Slovenian Alps.
