Create Your Own T-Shirt with Anselma

© Primož Lukežič
Viva Creativa: textiles and textures – step into the colorful world of sustainable fashion and create your own unique T-shirt from discarded textiles. In just three hours, Anselma’s mentor will guide you from selecting patterns and colors to completing your very own garment – unique, timeless, and entirely yours.
No sewing skills? No problem! In just three hours, under the guidance of Anselma’s inspiring mentor, you’ll transform discarded textiles into a one-of-a-kind T-shirt. Materials come from tailoring studios, workshops, and even forgotten fabrics from Ljubljana’s grandmothers. After playing with colors, patterns, and textures, you’ll stitch together your very own design.
Your T-shirt will be based on the Made in Anselma collection – timeless, unisex cuts that stand as a bold alternative to fast fashion. The Anselma collective has been a proud participant of Ljubljana Fashion Week for years and is the winner of the WOW Award for Most Sustainable Brand, known for its deep respect for community, materials, and the environment.
Anselma was founded by Ana Malalan Čeligoj – architect, fashion designer, author of sewing manuals, and a driving force in Ljubljana’s creative scene. Today, she leads a vibrant community of designers, artists, and textile technologists, turning Anselma into a hub of collaboration, learning, and joy.
The studio’s unofficial motto says it all: “From dissatisfaction to happiness.” Many participants arrive tense and leave with glowing smiles – and a T-shirt they’ll cherish forever.
