Tourist information centre
Apart from numerous tourism publications and the city map, which are available free of charge TIC Ljubljana offers tourist literature on Ljubljana, postcards with stamps, souvenirs of Ljubljana, and T-shirts with motifs of Ljubljana.
The Tourist Information Centre (TIC Ljubljana) provides information, tourist literature and services for the area of the city.
Opening hours:
- Spring/Summer schedule (from 1 June to 30 September): every day from 8:00 to 19:00
- Autumn/Winter schedule (from 1 October to 31 May): every day from 8:00 to 18:00, except on Sundays and public holidays from 8:00 to 17:00.
At TIC Ljubljana visitors can:
- obtain tourist information about Ljubljana, the Central Slovenia Statistical Region and general information about Slovenia,
- obtain free tourist literature,
- buy the Ljubljana Card tourist card,
- rent the Ljubljana bike,
- rent a baby stroller,
- buy or recharge the Urbana single urban card,
- book guided tours of the city,
- buy tickets for boat trips on the river or Ljubljana's sightseeing train (Urban),
- buy souvenirs, postcards and other products,
- buy tickets to events,
- make a reservation for a one-day or a half-day trip in Slovenia.
TIC is part of UNICEF’s network of Safe Points for children who are in distress or who are victims of violence. They offer children a safe refuge while the competent authorities are notified.
