Campaign “Because of Us, Ljubljana Is …”
Ljubljana is a successful tourist destination thanks to all of us – its residents. We shape the city’s everyday image and, through the way we treat our surroundings, we co-create a Ljubljana that is both a pleasant place to live in and to visit.
The campaign “Because of Us, Ljubljana Is ...” highlights that tourism is not meant only for visitors, but also brings many benefits to the city’s residents – from jobs and support for local creators to well-maintained green spaces, infrastructure, and a vibrant cultural scene.
It raises awareness about which projects and services in Ljubljana are made possible through dedicated tourism funds, and it encourages us to recognize ourselves as active co-creators of city life. In doing so, it strengthens our sense of belonging, connection, and pride that Ljubljana is so attractive precisely because of us.
