Ljubljana Tourism Week
Ljubljana is full of stories, but even those who live here have not discovered them all.
Ljubljana Tourism Week takes place each year in the week of World Tourism Day, celebrated on 27 September. It opens the doors to places that residents often pass by in everyday life, and to experiences that reveal the city from a different perspective.
The programme is designed primarily for Ljubljana residents, inviting them to see their own city through the eyes of visitors. It highlights the green paths, lively streets, riverbanks, markets, cultural institutions, local stories, creative people and small details that make Ljubljana memorable to those who come here from elsewhere.
By presenting the experiences, places and providers that shape the city’s tourism offer, Ljubljana Tourism Week also shows how tourism enriches everyday life in the city. It is an invitation for residents to rediscover Ljubljana with more curiosity, more attention and perhaps a little more pride.
