The Ljubljana Ambassador Club is affiliated to the Slovenian Ambassador Programme, which is run by the Slovenian Convention Bureau with the support of the Slovenian Tourist Board in close cooperation with Ljubljana Convention Burau. Congress ambassadors offer a model which we hope will encourage young people to participate actively in international associations.

City buses
The ticket machines accept both cash and credit and debit cards. Visitors to Ljubljana who purchase their Urbana card from a Tourist Information Centre and keep the receipt can return the card to the place of purchase when they no longer need it and claim a €2.00 refund.

Ljubljana is the recipient of the Slovenia Green Destination PLATINUM label
Ljubljana received the Slovenia Green Destination PLATINUM label, awarded by the Slovenian Tourist Board. In 2016, Ljubljana was the first in Slovenia to receive the golden label and successfully kept it until this year.
