Eight Hotels in Sustainable Travelife Certification Process
In an effort to increase the number of environmentally certified accommodation providers in Ljubljana and the region of Central Slovenia, Ljubljana Tourism has organized two workshops for them. We are happy to announce that the certification process is already underway at the following properties: Hotel Park, Radisson Blu Plaza hotel Ljubljana, Best Western Premier Hotel Slon, City Hotel Ljubljana Union Hotels Group (4 hotels) Hostel Celica 2016 will be the year when Ljubljana will have eight Travelife certified hotels and one hostel.

The results of ICCA statistics 2017
On the European ranking Slovenia is 24th. Ljubljana recorded 44 events and has reached 56th place shared with Zagreb. Last year Ljubljana 47th with 54 recorded events. Destinations such as Krakow (45 events, and Tallinn and Munich (46 events) were placed just in front; behind Ljubljana we can find Gothenburg (41events ), Florence (40 events) and Bucharest (39 events).
