Love wanderings through Ljubljana
LUV Fest is a festival of love, art and wandering, bringing a new season of creativity, art, events and experiences to Ljubljana every year. During the festival, the city becomes a space for discovery, encounters, and the coexistence of diverse cultures.
It takes place between 8 February, when we celebrate Slovenia’s greatest poet France Prešeren, and 12 March, when, according to Slovenian tradition, “the birds get married.” Under the shared theme of art and love, LUV fest connects culture, art, music, cuisine and social gatherings, everything that makes Ljubljana lively, creative and open. From intimate concerts and artistic interventions to exhibitions, walks and open-air experiences, LUV is a festival of all genres for all generations.
Once again, the festival’s central feature is the open-air art gallery, while the main art installation, “Brstenje” (Sprouting) by artist Nika Erjavec, symbolizes the awakening of nature, the city and its people.
We invite you to discover new places and experience Ljubljana in the rhythm of spring.
