Ljubljana-Škofja Loka
From there, continue to hike uphill to Osolnik and then descend to Puštal and Škofja Loka. For the most part the route follows pleasant forest paths and tracks, with occasional sections of macadam or – more rarely – asphalt road. It passes through forest, crosses open meadows, rises and falls over ridges and takes you past some of the most popular destinations in the Polhov Gradec Dolomites.

Ljubljana–Kamnik
Kamnik is also an excellent starting point for various hiking trips to the surrounding peaks. The most famous of them is the high-mountain plateau of Velika Planina, where the Alpine herdsmen take their cows each summer. The largest shopping centres, however, are located on the outskirts of the city. Most of the city centre shops are open from 8:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 8:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays. Suburban shopping centres are open from morning to evening on weekdays and Saturdays except for public holidays.

PLEČNIK AND A-CAPPELLA 2026: Ave Chamber Choir (Choir conductor: Ambrož Čopi)
The Ave Chamber Choir has been active since 1984 and is considered one of the most important Slovenian chamber choirs. It was founded in Ljubljana under the leadership of Andraž Hauptman. It brings together singers from Slovenia and the diaspora and regularly performs both at home and abroad (Europe, the Americas, Africa).
