Most of the gallery's temporary exhibitions, too, are dedicated to Maleš's life and work. The Gallery Miha Maleš was established as a branch of the Medobčinski museum Kamnik in 1979, when Miha Maleš, a native of Kamnik, donated 2634 of his works to the town on the 750th anniversary of the first written mention of Kamnik’s citizens.
