The "CIRKuliranje" Project brings circus art to places where cultural events rarely find their space – into neighbourhoods outside the city centre and to audiences who (yet) don’t know they can be part of the circus.

Zavod Bufeto has been developing high-quality circus production and education programmes for many years. With the "CIRKuliranje" project, they bring this knowledge and artistry into local communities that lack traditional cultural infrastructure. Since Ljubljana still doesn’t have a venue dedicated exclusively to circus arts, the circus simply comes to the people.

In collaboration with numerous artists, creators, and partners from the fields of leisure and artistic practices, they create a vibrant programme that breathes new life into residential neighbourhoods beyond the city centre, making contemporary circus accessible to the widest possible audience – including those who rarely or never attend the theatre.
