Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Tone Tomšič Academic Choir, this photography exhibition tells the story of one of Slovenia's most distinguished choirs. Through a rich collection of images, visitors can explore concert performances, rehearsals, tours, competitions and memorable moments that have shaped generations of singers and left a lasting mark on Slovenia's choral tradition.

Founded in Ljubljana, the Tone Tomšič Academic Choir is the oldest and largest student choir in Slovenia and one of the country's leading choral institutions. For a century, it has enriched Slovenia's cultural life through acclaimed performances, innovative concert programmes, collaborations with Slovenian composers and success at international competitions.

The exhibition also offers a rare glimpse behind the scenes. Alongside photographs from the stage, it features candid moments from rehearsals, travels and everyday choir life, revealing the creativity, friendships and dedication that have defined the ensemble for generations. Many of the photographs and accompanying visual materials were created by choir members themselves, offering an authentic perspective on the choir's history.

More than a retrospective, the exhibition is a tribute to the thousands of singers, conductors and collaborators who have shaped the choir over the past century. It invites visitors to discover a hundred years of music, community and creativity that continue to resonate in Ljubljana today.
