Following the example of two distinguished city squares in Bologna and Locarno, Ljubljana also treats its residents and visitors every year to free screenings of the finest works of the seventh art.

The screenings, held each summer in one of Ljubljana’s main squares, are dedicated to important anniversaries and events in the city and in film.

This year, the following films will be screened: The Gold Rush, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Don’t Look Now... We’re Being Shot At!, and Jaws.

Films are screened in their original language with Slovene subtitles.
Films that are not in English are accompanied by both Slovene and English subtitles.
Films are screened even in the event of rain.
