Hidden behind the streets of Ljubljana, the courtyard of studios becomes a quiet haven of Love, Art, and Wandering during LUV fest.
Visitors can wander among the intimate studios of local artists and discover diverse and enchanting creative worlds.
At Gornji trg 24, the courtyard is surrounded by the workshops of clothing designer Nika Ravnik, jewelry designer Martina Obid Mlakar, sculptor Dušan Tršar, and sculptors Mojca Smerdu and Dragica Čadež.
For LUV fest, the artists will open their studios and present their works outdoors in the courtyard, with exhibitions on the green space that celebrate the arrival of spring.
On 6 March, photographer Borut Peterlin will set up his outdoor portable darkroom and create glass plate portraits using a 170-year-old process. On Friday, 6 March, portraiture will take place from 15:00 to 18:00, and on Saturday, 7 March, from 10:00 to 18:00. Visitors can experience this unique photographic technique and take home a one-of-a-kind portrait. This event will take place only in dry weather.
