Plečnik House, Karunova ulica 4, 1000 Ljubljana

As part of LUV Fest, we once again explore Plečnik’s Ljubljana through the lens of love. This time, the focus is on one of the most distinctive aspects of his architectural vision: the creative reuse of historical architectural elements.

Held in conjunction with the exhibition New Purpose, New Interpretation, the guided tour with Ana Porok, curator of Plečnik House, and Dora Janušič, co-author of the exhibition, reveals how Plečnik transformed found, donated, and preserved architectural fragments into new spatial meanings, creating a unique dialogue between past and present.

Join us for a fresh perspective on architecture as an act of care, sustainability, and deep affection for the city and discover how Plečnik’s sensitivity to existing materials continues to inspire contemporary thinking today.
