The international festival Young Lions is one of the most prominent annual events organised by the Bunker Institute, bringing the most cutting-edge stage artists from around the world to Ljubljana at the end of each summer.

The festival is known for its creative and vibrant atmosphere, its curious audience, and its strong sense of community.

It is defined by a demanding artistic profile of contemporary progressive theatre and is especially renowned for discovering new talents.

Young Lions (Mladi levi) is a true place of encounters and surprises, where both local and international artists and guests like to stay throughout the festival, enjoying the art and engaging in discussions on current artistic and social issues. It is a space for exchanging and developing new ideas, friendships, and collaborations—often reaching beyond local concepts and borders.

Remark

A ticket for an individual festival event costs a symbolic €1. Tickets can be collected and paid for at the box office, which opens one hour before the performance at the event location.
