Presentation of Ljubljana as a cultural and gastronomic capital in San Sebastian

Ljubljana Ambassador Club
The club’s purpose is to enhance the promotion of Ljubljana in the international meetings field and support Slovenian scientists, experts, doctors, professors, researchers, businesspeople, athletes and other individuals who are members of international associations in their own field and are endeavouring to bring international events to Ljubljana. Its members are those experts who have done most to bring major international events to Ljubljana in the past. The experience of the club’s members is a priceless source of inspiration, and also of entirely practical advice on how to obtain and successfully organise a major event at the international level.

Volunteers of the IMEX Challenge Slovenia 2012 project built a beehive for children with special needs
Tatjana Radovič, head of the Ljubljana Tourism / Convention Bureau, described participation in the project as an amazing experience, but even more important is the fact it will help increase visibility of one of the most vulnerable social groups. Volunteers donated funds in amount of €25.000 and, in addition to constructing the beehive, also renovated the nearby educational trail and greenhouse in which the disabled children will now be able to grow honey plants.
