National Museum of Slovenia - Metelkova ulica street
It includes arts and crafts items, industrial design products and unique design artefacts created from the 14th century to the present day. Bringing together over 2,500 objects, it reflects the rich diversity of styles, forms of decoration, materials and techniques used in applied art in different periods of cultural history, from the Gothic period, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and Classicism to the Empire Style, Biedermeier, Historicism, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Modernism.

The oldest part of the monastery, which consists of a cloister and a monastic church, has survived until the present day. The Slovene Museum of Christianity shows a permanent collection on the history of the Stična Monastery and the most important chapters in the history of Roman Catholic religion in Slovenian inhabited areas, as well as a number of works of sacral art.
