In November, Ljubljana's streets are where everyone eats! Throughout the month, there will be a series of exciting culinary events, workshops and menus for all tastes and budgets. From street food to Michelin stars, from craft beer to prestigious wines and non-alcoholic pleasures.

Who are the faces behind Ljubljana’s vibrant culinary scene?
Join us for the first event in the Spooning with chefs series, hosted by charismatic food writer and presenter Boštjan Napotnik, who will be chatting with one of Slovenia’s most acclaimed chefs - Jorg Zupan.

Ljubljana Wine Route: St. Martin's Day

At the Ljubljana Wine Route event, which celebrates the folk tradition of Martinovanje – the moment when must turns into wine – young wines and traditional Slovenian dishes are showcased at stalls set up in front of restaurants in the old town centre.

Spooning with Igor Jagodic

At the second Spooning with chefs evening, Boštjan Napotnik will be joined by Igor Jagodic, the acclaimed chef of Restaurant Strelec, known for blending Slovenian tradition with contemporary culinary artistry.

The third evening of the Spooning series celebrates the iconic Bratovž family of JB Restaurant - pioneers of modern Slovenian gastronomy.

Slovenian Wine Festival

The mission of the Slovenian Wine Festival is to showcase both Slovenian and international wines and to promote wine culture.

Beer Way NOVEMBEER GOURMET LJUBLJANA

Attention beer lovers! A new highlight of this year’s festival is Ljubljana’s first beer trail – NovemBeer Gourmet Ljubljana: a market featuring craft breweries from Ljubljana and its surroundings, as well as from other parts of Slovenia. The event will come to life on the city streets on 15 November, one week after the traditional Ljubljana Wine Trail on 8 November.

The Spoonful Trail

The teams of Tourism Ljubljana and Open Kitchen have joined forces to cook up a special edition of Open Kitchen - where every dish is eaten with a spoon!

Spooning with Mojmir Šiftar

The fourth evening of Spooning with chefs will feature Mojmir Šiftar, the creative force behind PEN Klub Restaurant, known for his playful, elegant and bold culinary style.

Charity Cooking Show

On the evening of November 27, students from BIC Ljubljana will create their own modern interpretations of "Taste Ljubljana" dishes and impress chefs Luka Jezeršek, Mojmir Šiftar and Igor Jagodic, who will reward the best creation.
