Slovenia may not be known for its golf, but it’s a popular destination! Here’s our guide to the best golf courses in Ljubljana and Slovenia.

That's a pretty usual question for locals and foreign visitors of Ljubljana. Before we attempt to answer the question we have to ask ourselves what it is that we expect from this coffee.

At the turn of the century, many European cities embraced the new art movement called Art Nouveau or secession, that left its mark on art, architecture and design. Ljubljana was no exception, therefore typical secession style can be seen on numerous buildings, all inspired by scenes from nature, religion, folklore and geometry.

It’s so prominent it can be seen from all directions. Not only is Triglav Slovenia’s national symbol, hiking is such a popular activity among Slovenians they consider it their national sport. And climbing Mt. Triglav is on everybody’s bucket list, as it is said you are only a true Slovenian once you’ve managed to reach its top.

By now, Slovenia is well known for its mountains, rivers and lush green landscapes. But the incredible geodiversity doesn’t end at the Earth’s surface - there is also a lot to admire underground.
