Have you ever wondered about all the love stories that happened in Ljubljana old town? Or why March 12th is also referred to as the Slovenian Valentine’s Day? All that and so much more will be revealed to you on this special tour.

With its narrow streets, castle on the hill, and the Ljubljanica River flowing through the city, Ljubljana is a place made for love stories. On this themed tour, we will explore the sites where stories of romance, longing, and fateful encounters have unfolded.

Our route will take us past the Town Hall, where many Ljubljančani have pledged their eternal love, and on to Gornji trg, once an important social hub where dances and gatherings sparked countless romances. How did they end? You’ll find out on the tour.

Crossing the Ljubljanica, we will spot Trnovo Beach with its willow trees, still a popular secret hideaway for young lovers. We’ll stroll across the Šentjakobski Bridge to Zvezda Park, continuing our walk through the glow of the “Cvetilke” (Bloomlights).

During the tour, there will be a short break to enjoy a sweet surprise. We will conclude at Prešeren Square, named after Slovenia’s greatest poet. His love for Julija Primic became the inspiration for some of the most beautiful and romantic poems in Slovenian literature.

You are cordially invited to do the same – or just come to Ljubljana to join us on the Ljubljana LUVs Stories tour and feel the love of the city. After all, love is all we need, right?
