The top of Mount Krim (1107 m), nicknamed by locals as "The Southern Guard of Ljubljana Marshes", offers one of the most beautiful views in Slovenia.
Due to its location, Mount Krim is an important destination for hikers and mountaineers. The summit can be reached via six well-marked hiking trails. Among the options are routes starting from Lake Podpeč, the Iška Gorge, or Rakitna. The hike from any of these starting points takes about 2 to 2.5 hours.
