Cocktail Experience “Is It New Year Already?”

In preparation for the upcoming holidays, Broken Bones Distillery is hosting the “Is It New Year Already?” experience. In the cozy setting of the distillery, you’ll be introduced to a selection of cocktails, perfect for the festive season. The air will be filled with aromas of ginger, cinnamon, and other spices, blended into cocktails made with Broken Bones’ exceptional spirits.

After a welcome cocktail, enjoy a tasting of selected spirits and cocktails from their special holiday menu. During the experience, you’ll also learn more about Broken Bones Distillery, their spirits, and the cocktails being served.

Tequila Tastings at Patron Tacos & Bar

Join a tasting of various tequilas and/or mezcals guided by a spirits expert certified by The Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) with 20 years of experience. You’ll enjoy at least four 25 ml samples while learning about agave, its production process, different categories of tequila and/or mezcal, as well as interesting facts and myths.

Available Tastings:

  • Tequila Tasting: 4 samples – €40 per person
  • Mezcal Tasting: 4 samples – €45 per person
  • Agave Spirits Tasting: 5 samples of various agave spirits – €50 per person
  • Tequila & Mezcal Experience: 5 samples of various tequilas and mezcals paired with a carefully selected snack to enhance the tasting experience and provide an authentic taste of Mexican culture – €75 per person (reservation required 72 hours in advance)

Beer Tastings on a Boat

Friday evenings in Ljubljana are best spent starting or ending on the city’s main artery, the Ljubljanica River, which offers a truly special atmosphere after dark. While the riverside terraces are bustling with lively crowds, our floating terrace transforms into a cosy, cushioned boat. On board, you’ll enjoy four craft beers while admiring Ljubljana’s main sights along the river: from its lush green surroundings to the city center with Prešeren Square, the Triple Bridge, Plečnik’s markets, the Dragon Bridge, and the Shoemakers’ Bridge.

Gin Tasting Cruise

Spend your Thursday evening on a unique experience along the Ljubljanica River. Step aboard a comfortable boat and enjoy a gin tasting as you cruise through the heart of the city. A representative from Broken Bones, Ljubljana’s craft distillery, will introduce you to their work and present five different gins. Two refreshing gin and tonics will also be served. While savoring the tasting, admire Ljubljana’s landmarks, from Plečnik’s iconic architecture and the legendary Dragon Bridge to the city’s beautiful green surroundings.

Coffee tasting workshops at R&B Cafe Roasters – café and roastery

Join R&B Cafe Roasters, a café and roastery, any Saturday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. for an unforgettable one-hour coffee tasting workshop with this year’s national coffee roasting champion.

Dive into the rich history and varieties of coffee, learn how to distinguish specialty coffee from industrial blends and discover how different processing methods influence flavour.

You’ll taste up to six unique coffee brews and learn to recognise their captivating aromas. The workshop will be held with a minimum of two participants.
